Why We Built This

Most online file converters follow the same frustrating pattern: you upload a file, wait for a server to process it, and hope nothing gets stored along the way. The good ones charge a subscription. The free ones cover themselves in ads, cap your file size, or quietly keep copies of what you upload.

We thought there was a better way. Modern browsers can compress, convert, resize, and edit files entirely on the device you're already using — no server round-trip required. So we built Achsah Works around one simple rule: your files never leave your browser. Everything happens locally, in the tab you have open. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, nothing is transmitted.

What the Site Offers

Achsah Works is a collection of focused, single-purpose tools across three categories:

• Image tools — compress, convert between formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF), resize, crop, rotate, flip, add borders and watermarks, extract color palettes, remove EXIF data, and process images in bulk.
• PDF tools — split, merge, rotate, delete pages, unlock password-protected files, compress, and convert PDFs to images.
• Audio tools — cut and trim MP3 files, and convert between audio formats.

Every tool is free, works without an account, and processes your files entirely in the browser. If a tool you need isn't here yet, let us know — we add new ones based on what people actually ask for.

The Company Behind It

Achsah Works is built and maintained by Achsah Consultancy Services Private Limited, a small company based in India. We're a lean team, not a venture-funded startup — which means we can afford to keep these tools free without compromising on privacy. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising, not by selling user data or locking features behind a paywall.

We started Achsah Works because we kept seeing the same complaint from people who just needed to convert a photo or split a PDF: the existing tools were either expensive, sketchy, or both. We wanted to build something we'd be happy to use ourselves — fast, honest, and private by default.
